An ATS controller is an electronic module capable of transferring the LOAD from a "PRIMARY" source of electric energy to a "SECONDARY" source. The "PRIMARY" source is considered the UTILITY POWER source. In other words, the ATS controller automatically tries to connect the "PRIMARY" source first.
